My Story

Fine Ink Printing began in early 2025 from a problem I ran into as an artist myself. I had been selected to hang and sell my work at the Alley Cat Cafe for the month of February — exciting news, until I realized there was a 15-piece requirement and I had already given away nearly all of my original stippling drawings to friends and family.

I started scrambling to make prints of borrowed-back artwork, going through multiple rounds of scans and proofs at FedEx with disappointing results. The prints lacked the detail, texture, and accuracy that mattered to me as an artist. After enough frustration, I decided to search for a better solution.

That search led me to Boulder Fine Art, where I met Brian and was finally able to produce reproductions I felt proud of. Shortly after, I began apprenticing at the studio, driving from Fort Collins to Boulder twice a week for the next nine months to learn the process of professional art reproduction, color accuracy, scanning, photographing, and archival printing.

By the end of 2025, I had started building my own studio in Fort Collins, Colorado. Today, Fine Ink Printing operates as an artist-owned reproduction studio focused on helping artists create high-quality reproductions of their work without the frustration I experienced when starting out.

Working from my home studio allows me to provide a personal, detail-oriented experience while offering professional services including art scanning, artwork photography, fine art printing, canvas printing, and fulfillment support. As both an artist and reproduction specialist, I understand how personal your work is — and I treat every piece with the same level of care I would want for my own artwork.
